These Terms & Conditions (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of the VitalCare Home Services website and your booking of our non‑medical home support services. By using our site or booking services, you agree to these Terms.

Services

VitalCare provides non-medical home support services such as personal care, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, respite care, dementia support, post‑hospital recovery support, and community accompaniment. We do not provide regulated medical or nursing services.

Client responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about care needs, risks (e.g., mobility), and home environment.
  • Maintain a safe environment for workers (e.g., secure pets, safe access, smoke‑free during visits).
  • Comply with scheduling, arrival, and cancellation requirements.
  • Do not request services outside worker scope (e.g., administering medication unless specifically authorized under non‑medical assistance laws).

Workforce & conduct

Services are delivered by employees or contractors vetted by VitalCare. We expect respectful conduct by all parties. We may refuse or discontinue services for safety concerns, harassment, or non‑payment.

Bookings, rates, and payment

  • Rates and minimum visit lengths are displayed on our site or in your service agreement; taxes may apply.
  • Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise stated. Late payments may incur interest at the maximum permitted rate by law.
  • We may require a deposit or valid payment method on file. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Changes and availability

Service availability, staffing, and schedules may vary. We may modify or discontinue offerings with notice where practical.

Health & safety

We follow reasonable safety practices and applicable guidelines. Clients must inform us of any infectious conditions, hazards, or special precautions.

Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

Website content, logos, and materials are owned by VitalCare or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Third‑party links & tools

Our site may contain links to third‑party websites or tools. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our services and website are provided “as is”. VitalCare is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to services is limited to the amounts paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold VitalCare, its directors, officers, employees, and contractors harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the services, except to the extent caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, unless another process is agreed in writing.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest revision. Continued use signifies acceptance of changes.
